Let’s get ready to reflect on last year’s accomplishments, with some vision board ideas, and refocus what we want our 2022 to look like, yay!
Above all, vision boards are great for motivation, staying on track, visually seeing goals, as well as visually reminding ourselves of our intuitive ideals.
GREAT AREAS OF FOCUS FOR THE VISION BOARD
Firstly, focusing on pillars of health, goals, and bucket list items is a great start!
Although this isn’t just a travel vision board, it’s all-encompassing and each pillar lays the path towards travel and being our best self!
Plus, when traveling, sometimes we can get a little lost with all the new, it helps to have a visual to recenter us.
If anything, my personal vision board is an accumulation of things I like to do in my daily life, what I enjoy doing while traveling, as well as where I want to go and what I strive to achieve.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO CREATING YOUR VISION BOARD
#1. Get Canva
This link should allow you to use it both through the app and through mobile – Click here!
So, there are going to be two options, one is going to be the basic plan, but it doesn’t give the freedom of using the stock images or all the templates.
Overall, Canva Pro is great because it gives us the freedom to choose without limitation.
#2. Select your Template
First and foremost, just remember that the colors, pictures, and even accent designs can be deleted and changed to make it exactly the way you want it!
To give a specific example for Vision Board I ideas, I’ve decided to stick to the “Modern Chic Mood board Vision Board Photo Collage”, which can be found by searching either “Vision Board” or “Photo Collage.”

#3. Customize Template
There are unlimited amounts of options here.
Anything from the background colors, texts, images, animations, designs can be changed and altered accordingly to your desires!
#4. Resize Completed Vision Board
As far as the options go, there are many, but for this step by step I’m showing the desktop wallpaper and phone wall paper size.

#5. Download Vision Board
Overall, there are many selection choices, but the best option is the “PNG”, which is the highest quality image.
Then once, the download is complete it will as which folder you’d like it to be saved to – It’s easiest to select Google Drive, because then it’s easily accessible through mobile and desktop.
#6. Uploading
For Desktop:
When uploading the images for your computer, right-click on the image in the folder chosen on Google Drive, then select upload wallpaper for desktop browser.
For Phone:
However, for uploading to mobile, go into the Google Drive folder, then select the image size for the phone.
Then the option will pop up for either/and set for your lock screen or your home and lock screen. Feel free to decide on all or one. I personally just decided on my home screen because the clock numbers get in the way on my lock screen.

BEFORE VS. AFTER
After, spending about an hour or so sifting through my photos of some happy moments (Backpacking, hiking, at a hot spring and cycling) places I want to explore (Bali & a Retreat), colorful fruits and vegetables encouraging healthy eating, massages/healing touch, reading a book while relaxing in a boat on the beach.
Previously, I had a few similar images but had really focused on long-term goals without much presence. There’s a bit more balance to it now, at least I’d like to think so.
Over time, you’ll change, and these vision board ideas will shift as you find what feels right for you. Just make sure to choose things that are achievable, I personally like to choose things that are achievable within the next year- two years, this way it can be a quick reminder, rather than a long drawn-out one.
Above all, have fun, get excited, and feel inspired!!

As the years have gone on, I’ve found that this can be the most fun when done alongside friends and family, then exchanging the results once done, to add some excitement!
So, try sharing this article with your friends and family and get inspired with your vision board Ideas.
