I also want to mention that it’s important to have diversity and to explore multiple options. Especially because what might work for one person, may not work for another. As well as, one website or company may be great in one area, but may not be as great in another area.

Well, my very first international trip was actually a family vacation in 2016, to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  We did zip lining, rode ATV’s, did parasailing, went out on the water with kayaks and explored the towns. It was so much fun! I’ve been hooked ever since! 

Over time, I’ve had the opportunity of going to Oaxaca, Tulum, Costa Rica, and many places in Peru. Over the years, I hope to go to at least 1-2 new countries every year.

Well, I travel about 6 months of the year, usually in 2-3 month chunk increments.

For a while I’d wanted to be a full time digital nomad, but after trying it out, I’d missed my family too much to be gone much longer.

Plus, I’ve learned that I get a bit bored staying in one place any longer than that, too. So, I’ve found my perfect little balance.
