Event Overview:

Ready to dive into an unforgettable day on the lake? Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, our Paddle & Play event is the perfect way to spend a day in nature! Join us for a fun and informative kayaking and paddleboarding class, where you’ll learn the basics, improve your techniques, and gain confidence on the water. After the class, we’ll take to the lake for a leisurely paddleboarding and kayaking adventure, soaking in the serene views and making memories.

Event Schedule:

• Class (Paddleboarding & Kayaking):
🕒 1:00 pm – Meet at the lakeside, gear up, and get ready for a comprehensive class led by me as your experienced instructor. You’ll learn everything from basic strokes to safety tips.

• Social Event Adventure:
🕒 3:00 p.m – After the class, we’ll hit the water for a relaxing paddle on the water. Explore hidden coves, enjoy the scenic beauty, and take in the tranquility of the lake.

What to Bring:

• 🛶 Kayak or Paddleboard (Rentals available on request)
• 🚣‍♀️ Paddle (if not included with rental)
• 🦺 Personal Flotation Device (life jacket)
• 👙 Swimsuit
• 🧴 Sunscreen
• 🕶️ Sunglasses with a strap
• 🧢 Hat
• 🥿 Water shoes or sandals
• 🧊 Water bottle (stay hydrated!)
• 🍱 Snacks or a light meal for the lake adventure (I’ll be bringing some but you’re welcome to bring more, if you’d like!)

• First Aid Kit & Other Emergency Supplies
• Water & pump for emergency water
• Electrolytes
• Snacks *vegan*
• Extra Sunscreen

Early Bird Price = $15 off! (Until June 22nd)

#1. Class Price:
BYO Paddleboard/Kayak: $70

#2. Event & Social Price:
BYO Paddleboard/Kayak: $40

#3. Attending Both =
BYO Paddleboard/Kayak: $95

Renting Kayak: +$30 per hour OR $150.00/ per day
Renting a SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard): +$25 per hour OR $125.00/ per day

These are the supplier’s costs and goes directly to them. The class is about 2 hours and then the social will most likely be for 2 hours as well. Please feel free to join either one or both!

To ensure a smooth event, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable. I’m grateful for your understanding.

Additional Information:

• Safety First: All participants must be able to swim.
• Gear Rentals: Need to rent a kayak or paddleboard? Let me know in advance, and I’ll arrange it for you!
• Leave No Trace: Let’s keep the lake clean! Please pack out any trash, and avoid bringing glass containers.
• Weather Contingency: In case of unfavorable weather, the event will be rescheduled and you’ll be notified in advance.
